Performance bottlenecks in MyAdvisor were costing advisors 3–5 minutes per client session, translating to lost appointments, frustrated users, and revenue at risk. I led the design and strategy to restore speed, simplify workflows, and protect the client experience.
As Product Design Lead, I partnered with analytics, engineering, and advisor stakeholders to diagnose performance pain points, prioritize features, and deliver a streamlined 'Lite' experience—balancing technical feasibility with advisor workflow needs.

Streamlined features for a seamless experience
We streamlined features and optimized code. Expense page for Advisors was simplified to improve loading times when it came to visuals (i.e charts, graphs) . Reduced load times by 60% and improved client satisfaction by 35%. Restored Appointment Quality; Advisors reported fewer technical interruptions and more confident client interactions
Improved Offline Features
Recognizing that advisors often presented plans in areas with poor connectivity, I designed PDF export templates that preserved branding, accessibility, and usability. This empowered advisors to deliver presentations without internet dependency, increasing confidence and professionalism.
Streamlining Interface
I facilitated prioritization workshops with advisors to distinguish must-have from nice-to-have features. The resulting interface reduced cognitive load, improved navigation, and enabled faster task completion aiding Advisors on time-sensitive client conversations.
